10 arrested for Jamia violence, none students
Ten people with criminal background have been arrested for allegedly being involved in the violence near Jamia Millia Islamia University, police said on Tuesday. Arrests were made on Monday night from Jamia and Shaheen Bagh area. The university had turned into a battlefield on Sunday night as Delhi police entered the university campus and also used force.

Expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted on Monday in the rape and murder case of a minor girl in Unnao in 2017. The court, however, acquitted another accused Shashi Singh. RBI governor hints at further rate cuts
